The Fall of the Episcopal Church

Rob Kerby, Senior Editor at BeliefNet, tells the sad tale of the collapse of the Episcopal Church.  There are now 20 times as many Baptists as there are Episcopalians.  After spending $18 million in protracted lawsuits over the properties of seceding churches, the denomination’s own headquarters is up for sale because they can’t afford the upkeep.  For ‘equal time,’ Presiding Bishop Katherine Jefferts Schori’s opening remarks at last months General Convention of the Episcopal Church at linked as well.
